Cookies
Controller and scope
MOLDEREZ-CONSULT SRL, Square Valère Gille 13/5, 1050 Ixelles, Belgium, is responsible for cookies and similar technologies used by UFoundMe! on ufoundme.eu. This policy covers HTTP cookies, browser local storage and session storage. Contact: hello@ufoundme.eu · +32 2 808 30 30.
What these technologies are
A cookie is a small file associated with the browser. Local storage keeps a preference in that browser until it is deleted; session storage normally disappears when the tab or browser session closes. These technologies may fall under ePrivacy rules even where they do not directly contain personal data.
Current choice: strictly necessary
UFoundMe! currently uses no advertising cookie, social-media pixel or commercial profiling. Private audience measurement runs server-side without a cookie or identifier: only daily totals by page, language, device category and source category are retained. No IP address, identity, session, fingerprint, raw User-Agent, page address or raw referrer is stored. GPC and DNT are respected and aggregates are deleted after 400 days. This processing relies on the legitimate interest in measuring service reliability and use without tracking people. The technologies below are used only to deliver an expressly requested function, secure the service or remember an interface choice.
UFoundMe! cookies
ufm_session: authenticated session, CSRF protection and sign-in continuity; first-party, Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, up to 3 days after the last activity. ufm_known_device: opaque marker stating only that a sign-in previously succeeded; it contains no identity and grants no access; first-party, Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, 1 year. ufm_language: selected language; first-party, Secure, SameSite=Lax, 1 year. ufm_chat_access: sealed access to the chat requested after a scan; first-party, Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict, until the chat expires and no more than 30 days.
Browser local storage
ufoundme-cart-v8-badge-only stores only the selected tag quantity in the public and Studio carts; ufoundme-language the language; ufm.readability.v1 the readability profile; ufm-auth-theme-v1 the theme; ufm.privacy-notice.dismissed and ufm-essential-cookie-notice-v1 dismissal of notices; ufm.owner.chat.seen.v1 local chat read state; ufoundme-studio-fub-[pet] an unsynchronised DESIGN choice. These remain in that browser until replaced or deleted. ufm.registration.draft.v1 stores only first name, e-mail, age confirmation and save time for no more than 2 hours to preserve the form during a language change; no password, code, token or payment data is stored. ufoundme-cart-v9-badge-gift stores the tag quantity and gift options in the e-Shop cart. ufoundme-studio-draft-v2-[session fingerprint]-[pet] stores in this browser only unconfirmed card fields and the encoded cropped photograph, expires after 24 hours and is removed after successful saving; it contains no password, sign-in code or payment data.
Session storage
The keys ufoundme-demo-*, ufoundme-action-method, ufoundme-demo-language, ufoundme-card-language and ufm.utility.open.v1 remember only a step, language or interface state during the browser session and normally disappear when it closes.
External services
No third-party tracking content loads during an ordinary visit. Share buttons are plain links and place no UFoundMe! social tracker. If you choose Google to sign in or Mollie to pay, you voluntarily leave or open that provider’s domain; it may then use its own necessary cookies under its policy. UFoundMe! cannot read them. Integrated providers and relevant recipients are identified in the Privacy Policy.
Blocking, deletion and consequences
You can block or delete these items in browser settings. Public content remains readable, but sign-in, account security, cart, chat, preservation of a form or some preferences may stop working or require re-entry. Deleting ufm.registration.draft.v1 immediately removes the local draft. Signing out invalidates the server session; deleting site data also removes preferences held on the device.
If this policy changes
No non-strictly necessary technology will be enabled before clear information and prior, free, specific, informed, active and withdrawable consent. Accept and reject will be offered at the same level, without pre-ticked choices or a cookie wall, with a choice by purpose and withdrawal as easy as acceptance. The inventory, purposes, durations and any third parties will be updated before activation. Questions or GDPR rights: hello@ufoundme.eu. You may complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels.
