The public card only shows information selected by the owner. Account, payment and administration data remain private.

How is UFoundMe! different from other solutions?

Does the finder need to install an app?
No. A smartphone with a web browser is enough. UFoundMe! opens directly after a QR scan or NFC read, with no account or download required.
What if the phone has no NFC?
Use the QR code instead. QR and NFC open the same secure page, so the tag remains compatible with most smartphones.
Is the tag a GPS tracker?
No. UFoundMe! does not show a live position or track movement. It helps once someone finds the pet and scans the tag, and may be used alongside a true GPS tracker.
Does the tag work throughout Europe?
Yes, whenever a compatible phone has internet access. QR and NFC are not tied to a particular mobile operator or country. The service may also work outside Europe where internet and the platform are available.
How can I check that my tag works?
Scan it with a phone where you are not signed in, or use a private browser window. Check the public profile and expected alert. Test monthly and after an impact or collar change.
Do my phone number and email stay hidden?
Yes, by default. Messages go through UFoundMe!. They become visible only if you deliberately display an emergency number or share contact details in the conversation.
What if the finder does not want to communicate?
A scan may report that the tag was viewed, but UFoundMe! cannot force anyone to message, share a location or reveal identity. Continue the usual search through vets, shelters, official registers and local networks.
