UFoundMe! is a QR tag for dogs and cats. When someone finds the pet, they open its digital card without an app and can contact the owner in a private chat. The owner chooses whether a verified phone number is displayed.

What can the finder see?
The public card only shows information selected by the owner. Account, payment and administration data remain private.

How is UFoundMe! different from other solutions?

Does the finder need to install an app?
No. A smartphone with a web browser is enough. UFoundMe! opens directly after a QR scan or NFC (silicone and large metal tags) read, with no account or download required.
What if the phone has no NFC?
Use the QR code, which is on all three tags. QR and NFC (silicone tag and large metal tag) open the same secure page, so the tag remains compatible with most smartphones.
Is the tag a GPS tracker?
No. UFoundMe! does not show a live position or track movement. It helps once someone finds the pet and scans the tag, and may be used alongside a true GPS tracker.
Does the tag work throughout Europe?
Yes, whenever a compatible phone has internet access. QR and NFC (silicone and large metal tags) are not tied to a particular mobile operator or country. The service may also work outside Europe where internet and the platform are available.
How can I check that my tag works?
Scan it with a phone where you are not signed in, or in a private browser window, and check the public profile. To test the alert, send a short message from that page: you should receive the email, and the SMS if your number is verified. Test monthly and after an impact or collar change.
My pet has passed away, or I want to use the tag for another pet: how does it work?
In My Studio, choose “Manage the card” on the pet’s card, then “My pet has passed away”: the card turns grey and stays private in your Studio, and its tag stays on your account. You can put the card back online at any time. The Tags tab lists your tags, worn by a pet or set aside. A tag set aside is paired with another of your pets using “Pair with…”, with no code. You can also give it away: it leaves your account and whoever receives it scans it and pairs it on their own account with the 6-digit code shown. The remaining service follows the tag: unused days of Protection are added to the card of the next pet it is paired with, even on another account, within 12 months.
Do my phone number and email stay hidden?
Yes, by default. Messages go through UFoundMe!. They become visible only if you deliberately display an emergency number or share contact details in the conversation.
What if the finder does not want to communicate?
A scan alone is not reported to you, and UFoundMe! cannot force anyone to message, call, share a location or reveal identity. Continue the usual search through vets, shelters, official registers and local networks.
